Amrho Aviation's management has extensive experience setting up and running airlines and charter companies. Through direct relationships with aircraft owners, we can supply aircraft from a 5-seat jet to a wide-body airliner or heavy-lift freighter.

Flight operations

Aircraft Charter

VVIP, VIP and group charters for 4 to 1000+ passengers, from light jets and helicopters to full-size airliners, plus incentive and event flights.

Heavy Lift Air Cargo Operations

Outsized and heavy cargo flown on freighters such as the Antonov An-124, Ilyushin Il-76 and Boeing 737F, anywhere in Africa or the Middle East. We handle the aircraft, permits, loading plans and ground handling.

Special Missions: Flight Calibration & Target Towing

Specialised aircraft and crews for the flight calibration of navigation aids, instrument landing systems and radar, and for aerial target towing to support military and defence training.

Training & advisory

Pilot Training through CALCOSA

Pilot training is provided by CALCOSA Aviation Training, a flight school associated with the Amrho Group. It has been based at Rand Airport, Johannesburg, since 1998. Courses run from the Private Pilot Licence through Commercial and Airline Transport licences, with instrument, multi-engine, night and instructor ratings, type ratings and cabin crew training.
